Branding Logo
The Northwest Territories is renowned for its unique arts and fine crafts. These made-in-the-Northwest Territories arts and fine craft products are easily identified by the distinctive NWT Arts logo.
This visual representation is promoted widely and aligned with all products produced by NWT artists - allowing consumers, world-wide, to easily identify them as created and produced in the NWT.
The Government of the Northwest Territories, through its Department of Industry Tourism and Investment, created and administers this Arts Branding Program.
The Department also maintains and enforces guidelines and standards for the use of the logo to ensure and protect the quality, point of origin and distinctiveness of the products it represents.
Fort Smith artist Chris Dewolf created the design that inspired the NWT branding logo. It was chosen by representatives of the NWT Arts Council following a territory-wide Request for Submissions.
