A suite of learning opportunities are available to South Slave Region businesses and entrepreneurs in Hay River and Fort Smith this week.

Want to learn how to change your financial future and deal with accounts receivable? These are just some of the courses being offered by Aurora College, in partnership with Industry, Tourism and Investment (ITI).

  • From Receivable to Believable: Collections For Small Business
    Fort Smith – Aurora College
    Monday, May 14
    9:00am – 4:00pm
    Description: This workshop is for small business owners or individuals responsible for approving credit applications and collections of accounts receivable. This hands-on workshop includes a combination of real-life anecdotes and group exercises.
  • Change Your Financial Future
    Fort Smith – Aurora College
    Tuesday, May 15
    9:00am – 4:00pm
    Description: This course offers small businesses and individuals financial insight that will give you the understanding of how to change the way you deal with and even think about your money. Learn how to develop budgets and plans.
  • QuickBooks – Beyond the Basics (for advanced users)

Hay River – Aurora College
Wednsday, May 16
9:00am – 4:00pm 

Description: This class is designed for advanced users of the QuickBooks program and will provide information on some of the additional features available as well as tips and tricks to make the program work better for you.
