Fort Providence Territorial Park lies on the north bank of the Mackenzie River, a short distance downstream from the Highway 3 ferry crossing at the point where Great Slave Lake empties into the river. The Campground can be reached by driving west 2km off of highway 3 toward Fort Providence. The community is a further 3 Km. Fort Providence is located on the Frontier Trail, your route to Yellowknife, capital city of the Northwest Territories. |

Lady Evelyn Falls is located less than twenty minutes away from Fort Providence Territorial Park. Nearest visitor information centres to the campsite are in Hay River, and at the Sixtieth Parallel Territorial Park at the Alberta border. The next nearest NWT parks with camping facilities are in Yellowknife at Fred Henne Park 315 Km to the north, on the Frontier Trail, Highway 3; and at Hay River, 177 Km to the southeast. |

| Operational Season: | Fort Providence Territorial Park is open from May 15th to September 15th . Trails within the park may be accessible on foot outside of those dates, but they will not be maintained clear of snow, and so you enter at your own risk. Services such as toilets and garbage removal are not provided outside the open season. | |
