Fred Henne Territorial Park is located on Long Lake, at the outskirts of Yellowknife.

Fred Henne Park is easy to find, on highway #3 approaching the city from the south, across from the airport. It has a sandy beach, where you can enjoy swimming, sunbathing, canoeing, water skiing and wind surfing. Oh, and fishing, too.

There are two entrances to the park. The Campground Gate House, staffed 24 hours per day, is for the use of overnight campers. The Day Use entrance and parking check-in booth are located closer to the beach.
