It also forms part of the Deh Cho Travel Connection, the tour route that takes in the unique communities and sights of three provinces. Nearby attraction is Lady Evelyn Falls Park. The nearest visitor information centres are in Hay River; and at Sixtieth Parallel Park at the Alberta border. |

| Operational Season: | Kakisa River Day Use Area is
open 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., seven days a week, from May 15th to
September 15th . Trails within the park may be accessible on
foot outside of those dates, but they will not be maintained clear of
snow, and so you enter at your own risk. Services such as toilets and
garbage removal are not provided outside the open season. |
