Little Buffalo River Crossing Territorial Park is located where NWT Highway #6 crosses the Little Buffalo River. It is approximately 30 km west of the community of Fort Resolution. Little Buffalo River Crossing provides an excellent place along the highway to drop in a fishing line and reel in some nice pickerel and jack-fish. With a comfortable 2-3 minute paddle, a person can reach the mouth of the Little Buffalo River and the shores of Great Slave Lake. |

Little Buffalo River Crossing is located on the Great Slave Route, which takes you along the southern shores of Great Slave Lake. The nearest visitor information centre is Wood Buffalo National Park Visitor Reception Centre, Fort Smith. The next nearest NWT parks with camping facilities are Hay River 126 Km to the west; and several Parks Canada campsites within Wood Buffalo National Park. |

| Operational Season: | Little Buffalo River Crossing Territorial Park is open from May 15th to September 15th . Trails within the park may be accessible on foot outside of those dates, but they will not be maintained clear of snow, and so you enter at your own risk. Services such as toilets and garbage removal are not provided outside the open season. |
