Pontoon Lake Day Use Area is one of the many parks strung like beads along the Ingraham Trail. It is located approximately 28 km east of Yellowknife. The picnic site at Pontoon Lake is very pretty. There are short trails that allow you to get different views of the lake. Come here at different times of the year, to see the changing colours, perhaps even the caribou far out on the lake ice in the middle of winter. |
