The information centre is built in the traditional way

Blackstone Visitor Information Centre is located in Blackstone Park, on the banks of the Liard River; and on the Liard Trail.

It forms one of the links in the Deh Cho Travel Connection, the tour route that takes in the unique communities and sights of two Canadian provinces and the Northwest Territories.

Golf course - nearest is in Fort Simpson. Nearest gasoline service to the south is in Ft. Liard, to the north is in Ft. Simpson Nearest grocery service is in Ft. Liard

Fort Simpson is 166 km to the north.

Fort Liard is 115 km to the south.

Nahanni Butte, visible across the Liard River, is only accessible by boat or plane in the summer, but is connected by road and ice bridge in the winter.

Blackstone Visitor Information Centre is open from May 15th to September 15th.
