Tourism Deposit Assurance Program (TDAP)

A visit to the Northwest Territories can be the experience of a lifetime - a truly northern vacation adventure.

In the event that a visitor pays a deposit to a licensed NWT tourism operator for a vacation package, and receives neither the vacation nor a refund, the Tourist Deposit Assurance Program offers a safety net.

The Program allows visitors to apply to the Minister of Industry, Tourism and Investment for reimbursement from the Tourist Deposit Assurance Program for all or part of the deposit that they have paid.
