The GNWT-operated Visitor Information Centres provide a number of services, depending on the locale. They offer reception and information to incoming visitors about the regions and the NWT in general. These Centres also offer interpretive and educational services through interpretive displays and exhibits on the natural and cultural heritage of the region and the NWT in general.

Our visitor information centres provide you with useful information about their surrounding areas. All Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) visitor information centres are open for the summer parks season, April 15th to September 15th. They offer much more than brochures and hotel reservations, with impressive interpretive displays that offer an insight into local culture and history, making them well worth a visit. |
