En 1999, le gouvernement des Territoires du Nord-Ouest (GTNO) a conclu un accord de suivi socio-économique avec Diavik pour le développement de la mine de diamants de l’entreprise située dans la région du Lac de Gras aux Territoires du Nord-Ouest (TNO). Le GTNO doit produire un rapport sur l’état des engagements établis en vertu de l’accord de suivi socio-économique pour garantir que les résidents et les entreprises des TNO bénéficient du projet de la mine de diamants Diavik. Le présent rapport résume les mesures que le GTNO prend pour mettre en oeuvre les engagements conclus dans le cadre de l’accord en question.
