NWT Arts, with the help of the City of Yellowknife and local organizations, has re-released a bilingual ArtWalk Map for Yellowknife.

With 8,000 copies printed, locals and tourists can take themselves on an artistic adventure through Yellowknife including stops where they can purchase original NWT art.

The map even includes the City of Yellowknife’s painted utility boxes!

The map will be available at the visitor’s centre and in hotels by the end of May.

It includes public buildings where people can view local art – and will serve to encourage residents and visitors alike to immerse themselves in the NWT capital and experience the immense variety of northern art that is on display.

Through the NWT Arts program, artists can connect with customers with unique branding and marketing opportunities.  The recognizable program logo identifies and brands authentic NWT art. To learn more about the NWT Arts Program and to register, visit NWTArts.com
