The Western Arctic Regional Visitor Centre in Inuvik has been a hub for fun events and activities throughout the summer and more are scheduled this week.
The most recent activity was a Northern Games demonstration. Members of the Northern Games Society attended and demonstrated different skills and techniques involved with Northern Games and gave the audience a chance to try their skills.
Be sure to check out more activities scheduled for this week at the Western Arctic Regional Visitor Centre for the next week. Each event happens from 2:00-3:30pm.
- Tuesday, August 15 – Caribou Skin Earrings
- Wednesday, August 16 – Our Local Pharmacy (learn about traditional plants)
- Thursday, August 17 – Storytelling & A Taste of Culture
- Friday, August 18 – Traditional Jigging Demonstration
