This is the week that we’ve all been waiting for.  Not only is the NWT open to leisure travellers, but the NWT Parks online reservation site opens this week for summer bookings.

Here are some quick tips to help you book the site you want this year.

1. Check your login early! Remember, you will not be able to access your logins for about 5 minutes before 10 am on each day of bookings.

2. Have your credit card ready as each online reservation must be paid in full at the time of booking.

3. ITI is staggering the opening the reservation system again this year; Tuesday, April 5th beginning at 10 a.m. (book at Prelude), Wednesday, April 6th at 10 a.m. (book at Reid), Thursday April 07 10am (book at Fred Henne) and beginning Friday at 10:00, reservations will be accepted for all parks.

4. NWT Parks generally open mid-May and close mid to end of September, but this varies from park to park. Click here to find out when each park opens and closes.

5. When you book your site, remember check in time is after 2pm to allow NWT Parks staff to have your site ready for you. Check out time is at noon; it is important to leave on time so we can get the site ready for our next visitors.
