With snowflakes beginning to fall throughout the Northwest Territories harvesters of wild edibles are preparing to store their haul.
Did you know that there are over 52 edible plants in the NWT and over 15 different edible berries?
Join Carol Arrowmaker, in Wekweètı̀, October 9 and 10 for a free workshop, organized by the Department of Industry, Tourism and Investment and learn how to process your harvested berries and wild edibles.
There will be daytime and evening workshops available at the Tłı̨chǫ Government Office.
