The Department of Industry, Tourism and Investment is seeking to appoint qualified individuals to the Agricultural Products Marketing Council.
The Council helps oversee the regulation and development of the Northwest Territories agricultural sector by reviewing plans for regulating the marketing of agricultural products, providing advice to the Minister of Industry, Tourism and Investment, and hearing appeals of the Egg Producers Board, among other roles related to the commercial egg sector.
The following skills/experience are encouraged but not required:
- Experience in business, marketing, or finance;
- An interest in agriculture;
- Previous board experience;
- Legal expertise.
