It's Arts Week in the Northwest Territories (NWT)!
Communities in the Beaufort Delta, North Slave, and Sahtu regions have a variety of activities planned, including workshops, demonstrations, and exhibits. The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) is providing sponsorship and support for a number of the events throughout the week.
Coinciding with the events, the GNWT's Department of Industry, Tourism and Investment has laucnhed its public arts survey on this occasion, which aims to solicit public input on improvements to the NWT Arts program.
The GNWT supports arts initiative as part of its mandate to invest in support for arts as an initiative to broaden the NWT's economic horizons.
Events run from September 26-October 3.
