The NWT Arts Program has a new display at the Chateau Nova Hotel in Yellowknife, showcasing work from contemporary and traditional visual artists from across the Northwest Territories (NWT).

Beside the cases is a brochure stand containing information sheets about where to buy NWT artwork in Yellowknife. These attractive and informative features will soon be accompanied by a slideshow of NWT Arts artists and their work displayed on a television.

There are 12 informative brochures in the rack, also available digitally here: www.nwtarts.com/publications

Whether you’re in Yellowknife at the moment, or have already returned home from an inspirational visit to the Territory, this handy “Where to Buy Art” page can lead you to local retailers of authentic NWT art.

The NWT Arts Program connects customers with artists from across the territory. In stores and galleries, the NWT Arts logo identifies authentic NWT arts and fine crafts created by artists registered with the Program. Artists create one-of-a-kind handmade pieces that capture their northern spirit and share their unique stories of living in Canada’s NWT.

In the South Slave Region, Territorial park displays have been installed for the summer camping season. They will be visible throughout the season. Here’s a sneak-peak of those exhibits:
