NWT Arts Week kicks off today and there is no shortage of celebratory activities across the Northwest Territories (NWT).

The first NWT Arts Pop Up Gallery also begins today in Yellowknife and features live performances and demonstrations by more than 20 local artists. The artists represent each region of the NWT as well as a variety of genres – including carving, painting, tufting, performing arts, literature, photography and sewing, to name a few.
The Pop Up Gallery is open 11am-6pm daily, Monday-Saturday on the lower level of the Centre Square Mall.
