UPDATE: Please note that the NWTParks.ca website will be unavailable between 9am-10am on April 12 in preparation of the reservation site opening. The site will be available promptly at 10am.
If you’re already dreaming of campfire s’mores don’t forget that you can begin booking your favourite campsites starting tomorrow at www.nwtparks.ca/campgrounds.
Due to the high volume of online bookings, the reservation system will be opened over two days:
- Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. for all territorial parks except Fred Henne Territorial Park.
- Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. for Fred Henne Territorial Park.
The initial opening of the on-line reservation system is always busy. Over 1,000 reservations were made in the first two days last year. Here are some tips to help make your booking go a little smoother.
- You can set up your user account beforehand so that when the reservation site opens, you’re ready to book!
- The online system may be slow in the first few hours due to the high number of users. To support faster reservation speeds, please don’t refresh your browser.
- View all campground opening and closing dates here to plan your camping getaway.
- If you are having trouble with your booking, please email: mailto:support@nwtparks.ca or call 1-867-445-1717
