Its time to start gearing up for the 2023 NWT parks camping season. The Government of the Northwest Territories campground reservation site opens on Monday!

As in previous seasons, ITI will be staggering its first-day bookings to accommodate anticipated high traffic loads. Below is the schedule that will be followed for opening reservations.

April 4                 10 am – Prelude bookings only

April 5                 10 am – Reid Lake bookings only

April 6                 10 am - Fred Henne bookings only

April 7                 10 am – The reservation site will officially open for all parks

ITI has made changes to the Terms and Conditions for Park Use, so make sure you brush up on those here.

Quick Tips:

  • Check your logins today! You will not be able to access your logins between 8:30 am  and 10:00 am on the first day of bookings.
  • Have your credit card handy, as each online reservation must be paid in full at the time of booking.
  • If you are planning travel or events around your bookings, please remember that the check-out time is noon, while check-ins can begin at 2:00 pm.

NWT Parks generally open mid-May and close mid to end of September. This varies from park to park.  North Slave Parks will be the first to open this year as gates open on May 12th. Blackstone Territorial Park (in the Dehcho) will stay open the latest, with a planned closing date of September 26th.
