In-Person Engagement on Petroleum Legislation Begins Next Week

The Government of the Northwest Territories is proposing amendments to the Petroleum Resources Act (PRA) and the Oil and Gas Operations Act (OGOA). This is the first step in a longer-term review, and we want to hear from you!

In-person engagement sessions begin next week in the NWT (see full schedule below) but there are many other ways to share your feedback:

ITI staff will be on hand to discuss and collect your feedback on three key focus areas: Transparency and Public Accountability; Administrative and Technical Amendments; and Significant Discoveries. 

This will also be an opportunity for you to ask questions and share your thoughts on all matters relating to petroleum resource development in the NWT.
