The Northwest Territories’ premiere conference for mining, exploration and geoscience information and updates is just around the corner. Delegates can register now for the 46th annual Yellowknife Geoscience Forum, November 20 - 22, 2019.
“The North’s mineral, energy, and environmental resources are all linked in some fashion to our rich and varied geological endowment,” says John Ketchum, Director of the NWT Geological Survey. “The Geoscience Forum allows participants from industry, academia, communities, governments, and the public to gather each year to share information. An all-inclusive, made in the North approach to planning and organizing the Forum is one reason why it continues to draw delegates from across the continent each year.”
Dr. Jesse Reimink from the Carnegie Institute for Science in Washington, D.C., is this year’s keynote speaker and will speak about the evolution of the Slave Geological Province.
