Are you a small business owner or looking to start one in the Sahtu Region?  A series of small business workshops are being held in four Sahtu communities early December.

The workshops are aimed at helping existing and start-up businesses to obtain money, avoid common mistakes, develop a healthy balance sheet, maximize business and more.

The workshops are co-sponsored by the GNWT’s Department of Industry, Tourism and Investment and  Crowe-McKay LLP, who is also delivering the training. Crowe-McKay, an international organization with an office in Yellowknife, provides a range of financial services to a diverse array of businesses. These workshops are one way the GNWT is advancing the objectives of the Economic Opportunities Strategy which highlights the importance of strengthening the operating environment for regional businesses and entrepreneurs - especially in the NWT’s small market communities.
