The Mining Recorder’s Office is a public registry of mineral rights and is responsible for issuing prospector’s licences, selling claim tags, recording mineral claims, issuing mining leases and prospecting permits. The office also conducts custom subsurface rights research and can provide maps, information and legislative packages.
