The 16th Annual Yellowknife International Film Festival is underway. This year’s in-theatre event, the first since the pandemic,  promises a diverse lineup of feature films plus a showcase of northern and circumpolar ‘shorts’. For those who can’t attend in person, it includes opportunities to participate virtually.

More than just a week of high-quality entertainment, the festival also offers an industry series of professional development workshops and several networking events including the NWT Film and Media Awards Gala on November 5th hosted by the NWT Professional Media Association with support from the NWT Film Commission.
