The Museum Café was packed last Friday with ITI management and staff recognizing 48 employees and their time and accomplishments with the GNWT.
Minister Nokleby was also in attendance and lauded the knowledge, expertise and passion the recipients exemplified.
With speeches, anecdotes and hors d’oeuvres by Flavour Trader, nearly a quarter of the Department was celebrated this year’s event.
“According to Forbes, the average worker stays at their job for only 4.4 years”, the Minister noted. “The fact that today we’re celebrating careers that span 20, 25 and 30 years of service tells me that you care about the work you do and that this Department is fortunate to have a wealth of historical knowledge.”
