The artisan fur shop on the second floor of Scotia Centre is now open (by appointment only) Tuesday’s from 9am-12pm, Wednesday’s from 1-4pm and Friday’s from 9am-12pm.

The shop is an element of the Hide and Fur Program supported by the Department of Industry, Tourism and Investment to provide NWT artists with access to raw materials at affordable prices.

Depending on availability, you will find:  

• Beaver (sheared and natural long-hair),
• Seal (natural and dyed),
• Fox (arctic, red, silver and cross); and
• Muskrat
