As part of the conference, representatives from the Department of Industry, Tourism and Investment's Client Services and Community Relations division to launch a new public education initiative: Resources and Energy Development Information (REDI).

The recipe for business success differs from one company to another. For Yellowknife-based tour company, Extreme Adventures Canada, that recipe included a lot of hard work, enthusiasm and Support for Entrepreneur and Economic Development (SEED) funding.
