Students in the North Slave Region once again benefited this week from a program aimed at educating young Canadians about geoscience and mining.The Department of Industry, Tourism and Investment sponsored the Mining Matters team to visit schools in both Yellowknife, N’Dilo, Dettah and Behchoko to help increase awareness and public education on the NWT’s most important economic sector.
