Yellowknife-based filmmaker Keith Robertson’s debut short film Bait! is representing the North on this year’s edition of CBC Short Film Face-Off — a competition where nine films selected from hundreds of submissions from across Canada battle it out for a chance to be licensed for broadcast by the CBC.

Minister Wally Schumann has tabled the GNWT’s Petroleum Resources Strategy. Alongside the Northwest Territories 2030 Energy Strategy and the NWT Climate Change Strategic Framework, it sets the foundation for how the GNWT will improve energy security, stabilize the cost of living and address the impacts of climate change with clear and positive actions.
