The Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada annual conference reconvened Monday.
The Toronto conference is considered to be the world’s premier mineral exploration and mining convention and attracts upwards of 20,000 in-person delegates annually.
This year, of course, it is a virtual event. More than a thousand people from across Canada and North America, as well as Russia, Ecuador, Peru, India, Ireland and France, tuned in online this morning to watch the Opening Ceremonies.
Like it has in the past, ITI is using the opportunity provided by PDAC to showcase the NWT’s mineral resources and potential. ITI’s virtual booth will provide visitors information about the NWT’s rich mineral potential, active projects, and programs and services geared to assist investors interested in developing the NWT’s resources.
On Tuesday, the Department will co-sponsor a presentation on the PDAC International Stage featuring Minister Caroline Wawzonek and her Yukon and Nunavut colleagues as they profile, collectively, the resource potential and opportunities in Canadas North under the banner Invest Canada’s North.
More information about the conference program and trade show can be found at https://www.pdac.ca/convention. PDAC 2021 runs March 8-11th.
