For the third year running, the Yellowknife Geoscience Forum wrapped up with the NWT Mining and Exploration (MAX) Awards.
The annual celebration recognizes excellence across the many facets of the territory’s economy touched by the mining and exploration industries.
Premier Cochrane greeted the crowd of industry leaders – drawing on her own history as the “daughter of a diamond driller” to put a personal touch on the important role the industry plays in the NWT’s economy.
