The Government of the Northwest Territories is committed to building a diversified, sustainable territorial economy by providing support for business and economic development throughout the NWT.
Under its Support for Entrepreneurs and Economic Development (SEED) Policy, the GNWT can provide financial support to qualified applicants to start businesses, improve their capacity or skills and help communities expand their economy.
Funding Categories
Funding is available in six categories:

The SEED Policy Application Form is an application only and additional documentation may be required to assess eligibility. Completion of the application form does not guarantee funding for the proposed project.
Prospective applicants should contact the appropriate Regional Office of the Department of Industry, Tourism and Investment for assistance completing the application and accessing SEED Policy programs.
