Attention Beaufort Delta artists: the fascinating 10-week training for Merging Arts and Crafts with Technology and Manufacturing will return to the region this winter.

The course runs October 9 – December 14, 2018 at the Aurora College Campus in Inuvik. The deadline to apply is September 20 at 5pm.

To apply, contact Laura Hicks at Aurora College at 867-777-7816 or lhicks@auroracollege.nt.ca.

The course was launched as a pilot project in May 2018 and with positive results and responses, it is back by popular demand.

Each week, selected participants will learn about new technology, including computer-aided design, 3D printing, silk-screening, Adobe Illustrator, laser cutting, and computer numeric control milling (the ability to carve out digitally created products).

Students will also learn about business basics including the costs of production, pricing products and reaching new markets.
