Mary Kelly and her business idea for a Music Exchange Space!
The Grand Prize package includes:
- One year of free leased space in downtown Yellowknife, up to a value of $3,000 per month,
- Up to $10,000 in start-up money under BDIC's Business Development Project Fund
- Business Licensing fee waived by City of Yellowknife
- One year Yellowknife Chamber of Commerce membership
- Choice of digital media package from Raven Web Services or With Media
- Samantha Stuart Photography package
- Emotional Intelligence assessment and two hours of free Emotional Intelligence coaching by Momentum Training Services
The Win Your Space YK Jury selected Kelly’s business idea as the winning entry after evaluating business plans and live pitches from five finalists. Kelly plans to open a music hub in one of the participating locations listed on www.winyourspaceyk.com.
Second prize went to Kerri Nolting with her recycled materials home décor business. The Farmhouse, while third prize went to Marilyn McGurran’s quilting business Longarm of the North.
