GNWT-ITI Attends the 2021 Virtual AME Mineral Exploration Roundup

Monday, January 18th will be the first “virtual” day of the annual five-day Mineral Exploration Roundup - one of the largest gatherings of the global exploration industry.

As the global mining community addresses the reality of COVID-19, the organizers of BC’s Association for Mineral Exploration (AME) event have adapted their annual conference and exhibition to the new normal of physical distancing and virtual business. 

AME (Remote) Round-Up 2021

Conference organizers are expecting over 6,000 geoscientists, technical experts, prospectors, suppliers, governments and indigenous partners to attend remotely from around the world.

Over the years, the GNWT’s Department of Industry Tourism and Investment has established a robust presence at this leading mineral exploration event on behalf of the NWT mining industry.

ITI’s virtual booth will provide visitors information about the NWT’s rich mineral potential, active projects and programs and services geared to assist investors interested in developing the NWT’s resources.,

The online webinar will build on the conference’s 2021 conference theme of “Leading through Change” and will feature presentations about the NWT’s top projects from: NorZinc, Fortune Minerals, Vital Metals, Nighthawk Gold, Gold Terra, and Osisko Metals. 

ITI’s presence at the 2021 AME Remote Roundup supports the GNWT’s mandate to: Increase resource exploration and development.
