Minister Wally Schumann has tabled the GNWT’s Petroleum Resources Strategy. Alongside the Northwest Territories 2030 Energy Strategy and the NWT Climate Change Strategic Framework, it sets the foundation for how the GNWT will improve energy security, stabilize the cost of living and address the impacts of climate change with clear and positive actions.

As they gear up to meet campers for the 2018 season, ITI has also refreshed the artwork on display in the gatehouses at Fred Henne, Prelude Lake and Reid Lake campgrounds.
To mark Tourism Week, May 27 – June 1, ITI is offering a series of 2-hour NorthernMost Host workshops. There is an added incentive during Tourism Week – all participants who complete the training will receive a sign for their business in Cantonese and Mandarin. The signage recognizes 2018 as the year of Canada-China Tourism and better serves the growing market of visitors to the NWT from China.
