The Growing Forward 2 (GF2) Program is an important funding source for many food growers and harvesters in the Northwest Territories (NWT), and we’re looking for input on how it can be improved.

An online survey is being provided to everyone who has accessed funding under GF2 to gauge how well the program is meeting its objectives; to determine satisfaction levels, and; to gather feedback on how agriculture support programs can be improved.

GF2 is provided through a partnership between the Government of Canada and the Department of Industry, Tourism and Investment (ITI).

The feedback collected through the survey is especially important as the Canadian Agricultural Partnership is currently under negotiation and is expected to come into effect on April 1, 2018. Under the new agriculture funding partnership, the NWT has a budget of $1.21 million annually from 2018-2023 for agricultural activities. Input received through the survey will help shape that program.
