The 16th Annual Yellowknife International Film Festival is underway. This year’s in-theatre event, the first since the pandemic, promises a diverse lineup of feature films plus a showcase of northern and circumpolar ‘shorts’. For those who can’t attend in person, it includes opportunities to participate virtually.

Get in on the 2022 Yellowknife International Film Festival Early, whether you’re a filmmaker or a videophile Friday, May 13 was your first opportunity to get tickets and submit films to the festival, now in its 16th year.
This long-awaited project was first imagined in March 2021 when HRHSSA began a partnership with the NWT Arts Program, Department of Industry, Tourism, and Investment (ITI) South Slave Regional Office to incorporate artwork of regional artists into the Hay River Regional Health Centre.
