Applications are now being accepted for mentorships to help up-and-coming NWT filmmakers take their careers to the next level.

The world’s largest presenter of Indigenous screen content is getting a dose of the NWT.

It was a busy week in Délı̨nę with art workshops running October 1^st through the 4^th.

Almost 40 residents took part in workshops as part of the community’s celebration of NWT Arts Week.

Tonight, with the red carpet rolled out, lights dimmed and the smell of freshly-popped popcorn wafting through the Capitol Theatre, the 12^th Annual Yellowknife International Film Festival will kick off.

NWT Arts was in the South Slave Region last week installing a new display in Fort Resolution and refreshing others in Hay River and Fort Smith. The displays showcase artists from the region’s communities and provide information on where you can buy authentic NWT Art in the area. 

The media spotlight will once-again be on the Inuvik-Tuktoyaktuk Highway (ITH) this week with the arrival of Chevrolet Canada and a fleet of travel and automotive writers, photographers and videographers. The visit is a part of Chevrolet’s launch of their newest Silverado on the NWT’s iconic new highway.
