The Northwest Territories (NWT) has a new group of prospectors following two recent Introduction to Prospecting courses that were hosted in Yellowknife. The 42 participants were quick learners and one student even found visible gold!

Minister Schumann yesterday delivered a keynote address at the Mines and Money conference in Toronto, Ontario. 

The remarks focused on the many benefits the Northwest Territories offers as a competitive investment jurisdiction, highlighting specifically the territory's proven mineral supply, political stability, and regional support for mining projects.
