The Arts Operating Fund provides funding to arts organizations to support costs for staffing, program administration, and expenses related to operating galleries, and other arts-related infrastructure (e.g., art spaces).

Arts Project Fund - Large
Overview
The Large Arts Project Fund provides arts organizations with funding for large-scale art projects and events (e.g., festivals, exhibitions, residencies, workshop series, etc.).
This funding supports costs such as paying coordinators, northern artists fees, venue and equipment rentals, material and supplies costs, etc. in the following disciplines:
Arts Project Grant - Medium
Overview
The Medium Arts Project Grant provides mid-career and established artists, craftspeople and arts and non-arts organizations with funding for medium-scale arts projects and events (e.g., collection of work such as paintings, exhibition support).
This grant supports costs for materials and supplies needed to create and display artwork, education, training, and artistic development in the following disciplines:
Arts Project Grant - Small
Overview
The Small Arts Project Grant provides emerging and mid-career artists, craftspeople and small groups with funding for small-scale arts projects (e.g., traditional apparel, paintings).
This grant supports a wide range of arts activities, including creation, production, presentation, training, and artistic development in the following disciplines:
Support Funding for Businesses and Communities Impacted by 2024 Barge Cancellations
Overview
One-time funding is available for NWT businesses and communities in the Sahtu and Beaufort-Delta regions affected by the summer 2024 barge resupply cancellations.

Artist to Market Program
Overview
The Artist to Market Program (AMP) creates economic opportunities for NWT artists to showcase their talents and sell their work outside of the Northwest Territories (NWT).
Commercial Fishery Support Program (Pilot Program)
Overview
The Commercial Fishery Support (CFSP) pilot program aims at creating new jobs and opportunities for fishers in the NWT by helping to defer costs, supplement prices, and encourage recruitment.
